I recieved this e-mail today and found it very interesting and thought that this was something that I should share.Maybe if we all participate we could make a difference.

A cosmic trigger event is occurring
on the 17th of October 2006

This is the beginning, one of many trigger events to come between now
and
2013. An ultraviolet (UV) pulse beam radiating from higher dimensions in
universe-2 will cross paths with the Earth on this day. Earth will
remain
approximately within this UV beam for 17 hours of your time.
This beam resonates with the heart chakra, it is radiant fluorescent in
nature, blue/magenta in colour. Although it resonates in this frequency
band
it is above the colour frequency spectrum of your universe-1 which you,
Earth articulate in. However due to the nature of your soul and soul
groups
operating from Universe-2 frequency bands it will have an effect.
The effect is every thought and emotion will be amplified intensely one
million-fold. Yes, we will repeat, all will be amplified one millions
time
and more.
Every thought, every emotion, every intent, every will, no matter if it
is
good, bad, ill, positive, negative, will be amplified one million times
in
strength.
What does this mean ?
Since all matter manifest is due to your thoughts, i.e. what you focus
on,
this beam will accelerate these thoughts and solidify them at an
accelerated
rate making them manifest a million times faster than they normally
would.
For those that do not comprehend. Your thoughts, what you focus on
create
your reality. This UV beam thus can be a dangerous tool. For if you are
focused on thoughts which are negative to your liking they will manifest
into your reality almost instantly. Then ag ain this UV beam can be a
gift if
you choose it to be.
Mission-1017 requires approximately one million people to focus on
positive,
benign, good willed thoughts for themselves and the Earth and Humanity
on
this day. Your thoughts can be of any nature of your choosing, but
remember
whatever you focus on will be made manifest in a relatively faster than
anticipated time frame. To some the occurrences may almost be bordering
on
the miracle.
All we ask is positive thoughts of love, prosperity, healing, wealth,
kindness, gratitude be focused on.
This UV beam comes into full affect for 17 hrs on the 17th of October
2006 .
No matter what time zone you are in the hours are approximately 10:17 am
on
the 17th of October to 1:17 am on the 18th October. The peak time will
be
17:10 ( 5:10 pm ) on the 17th October. You do not need to be in a
meditative
state through out this time, though would be benefici al. The main key
time
no matter what time zone you are in will be the peak time of 17:10 (
5:10 pm )
Perhaps at this time if you can find a peaceful spot or location to
focus.
The optimum is out in the vicinity of grounded nature, likened to that
of a
large tree or next to the ocean waves. Focus on whatever it is you
desire.
What is required for the benefit of all Earth and Humanity is positive
thoughts of loving nature.

I find myself smiling at the thought of the coming Wiccan Celebration. Samhain, it is, I must state my favorite holiday in the Wiccan Wheel of the Year. Ask me why, and I am not sure if I know the answer myself.
Samhain is celebrated on and around Old Hallows Eve, for all non Wiccans, this would be Halloween. Some traditions celebrate this day on the 1st of November, however neither is correct nor Incorrect.

Samhain is the night that we celebrate all that have passed before us, with a drink in my hand and a carved pumpkin at my side, I hail a toast to my departed mother, and her mother before and wish them well on their journey. With the veil between our worlds at its thinnest, this is the night that along with their departed freinds they can pull up a chair and sit awhile. It is as we Wiccans call it, The Spirit Night. Samhain along with Beltane are the only two holidays that we can call upon the spirits with ease, and which are said to be at this time journeying on their way to Summerland and pass through our time. To some this night is known as ‘The Day that does not exist’ due to the walls that hold the Spiritual and living world apart are dissolved. Skathach, the Celtic Warrior, Lowers her sword during the night.

This time is also known for the reflexion and meditation on death, as well as honoring ones ancestors whom have passed. We light candles in rememberance, set extra settings at the table, and pull up extra chairs around the fires to invite our loved ones back for the evening.

On this night I always bury an apple in the yard just outside my door for the spirits that are lost, or for those that have no relatives to honor them. The use of herbs to celebrate this time of year are always a major role in the Wiccan celebrations. Use Mugwort, Sage, Catnip and Mandrake.

We can also use this time to celebrate the Darker Magick of Wicca as we honor the Dark Mother and Father, no matter what religion we are, each of us should remember our families and loved ones that have passed. It is an age old tradition and one that honors those that we loved the dearest. Help them on their way by placing lit candles in your windows.

With a glass in my hand and a pumpkin lit I sit, wait and honor those gone…..

Programming a crystal magnifies the crystal’s intent on a specific purpose, and tunes it to your needs through visualization and it is relatively easy to do with some practice. You may wish to do a few practice runs before without the crystal and a good way to start is with a candle.
Sit in a quiet room with a candle. Burn some Meditation Herbs then light the candle and stare at the flame for a while. When you feel that you can see the flame with your eyes closed, slowly close your eyes, keeping the flame in your mind’s eye. When you can successfully hold the candle in your mind for several minutes without losing the image, you are ready to program your crystal. Before you begin, you can practice this with an apple, a rose, or any item you feel is suitable for this purpose.

The Technique

Before you begin, write down the purpose that you wish the crystal to hold. This will help you remember the specific intent of your crystal. Focus on the crystal while holding it in your dominant hand (writing hand in most cases). Clearly state the intention that you wish to program your crystal for. Close your eyes and visualize the desired effect that your crystal will have in your life.
You can program your crystal to work only when being held or carried by you. These details are yours alone, and should be clear. Keep focused while doing this; a clear mind is a must. There should be no confusion. Sense the crystal’s energies and let them mingle with your own. You may want to include something along the lines of, “Allow only good and positive energies to work through this crystal.” By repeating this three times, you will make it clear that your crystal is to be used for the good only and that it will emanate only positive energies for you. When done repeating this add, “So mote it be.”
You have successfully programmed your crystal.
However, please remember that all crystals are used for different things. Make sure that you pick a stone or crystal for the proper purpose. DO NOT program a love stone for healing uses. Please see the Crystal Uses list on the appropriate page to determine the correct crystal for you.

Cleansing Crystals

Listed below are several ways to cleanse your crystals. Choose one that appeals to you based on intuition; there is no right or wrong method. Do whatever feels right to you.
When you first receive or purchase your crystals, they will need to be cleansed to rid them of unwanted energies. After you have used a cleansing method you should then go to the Programming page and effectively program your crystal for your use. Both cleansing and programming will help you become attuned to your crystal and will transfer your energies into the crystal, which will then help your crystal perform better for you.

Water
Immerse your non-porous stones is salt water for a few hours. Sea Salt works well; Kosher Salt is cheaper. When you remove your stones, if you still feel that they are not properly cleansed then immerse again. This method will harm porous crystals.

Hold your stone under cool running water. Visualize the crystals being cleansed of all energies. Dry under the sun for added cleansing.

Take your crystals to a running stream or the ocean, place in a mesh bag and let the natural energies cleanse your crystals. You will know when they are ready to be removed.
Do not let go of the bag.

Fire
Light a smudge stick and wave the crystal through the smoke. You may also cleanse by moving your crystal backwards and forwards through a candle flame. Do not burn yourself. Incense can also be used; pick a cleansing fragrance like cedar, sandalwood or sage and use the smoke from the incense to cleanse your crystals. Ask for them to be cleansed and purified while performing this.

Earth
Bury your crystals in the Earth for 24hrs…. the natural energies of the Earth will cleanse your crystals.
Do not forget where they are buried!
Leave them longer if needed; you will know if they need extra cleansing.

Rain
Lay your crystals outside in the rain- let the raindrops cleanse away all energies from your stones. Bring them in when you feel that they are properly cleansed.

Sun and Moon
Place outside in direct sunlight or on a window that receives it. Let the sun’s rays cleanse and rejuvenate your crystals.

Place the crystals outside under the Moon’s magickal beams and cleanse overnight. Do not place where the morning sun will touch them.

Quartz crystal
If you have a large quartz cluster or one big enough to lay your other stones on this is a great method. Place crystals on the quartz; it will effectively cleanse and remove all negative energies. Quartz has very strong cleansing energies and is a wonderful method for cleansing.

Bluebell ~ The most potent plant for fairy magic. Fields of bluebells are said to be so dangerously enchanted by fairies that a child who wanders into one may be held captive there by the fae, and adults who enter bluebell patches may become so enchanted that they are unable to leave until other humans come to lead them out. If you hear a bluebell ringing, this indicates the presence of a malicious fairy.

Clover ~ Fields of clover are believed to attract fairies. A four-leaf clover is said to provide protection against the fae, and to be able to break fairy spells and glamors. Wearing a four-leaf clover in your hat supposedly grants you the power to see invisible fairies, as does anointing yourself with an ointment made from four-leaf clover, or carrying a charm made of seven grains of wheat and a four-leaf clover.

Cowslip ~ Cowslip blossoms are said to be loved by fairies, who use them for umbrellas, and protect the plants.

Daffodil ~ Daffodils are useful for evoking fairies and elves.

Daisy ~ Daisies are used in fairy magic, for working with elves or fairies. Putting a daisy chain on a child is said to prevent fairies from beguiling the child and carrying her or him away.

Elderberry ~ A wonderful Fairy Drink……make a brew of elderberry wine to attract the Fae.

Elecampane ~ Elfword and Elf Dock are folk names for elecampane, an herb whose roots are used in fairy magic. Scattering the root about is said to attract fairies to your home, and growing elecampane is said to attract them to your garden.

Fairy Wands ~ Fairy Wands (Dierama pulcherrima) are associated with Titania, Shakespeare’s fairy queen. They are used magically to call upon the fae for help.

Fern ~ Ferns are favored by pixies, who are said to sometimes be found near them.

Forget-Me-Not ~ Forget-Me-Not flowers provide protection from fairies. They are said to help unlock the secrets of the fae, and pave the way to fairy treasures.

Foxglove (*poison) ~ Foxglove is strongly associated with fairies, who are said to wear the tiny flowers as hats. Foxglove is used in fairy magic and for the evocation of elves or earth elementals. The leaves are said to grant release from fairy enchantment. Planting foxglove is an invitation to fairies to enter your garden.

Grass ~ Small fairies are said to ride bundles of grass as horses.

Pear ~ Japanese pears were called Fairies’ Fire in the old Language of Flowers.

Primrose ~ Primroses were believed to grant fairies the power if invisibility. Eating primroses is supposed to enable you to see fairies. hanging a spray of primroses on your door is said to be an invitation to the fae to enter your home, and to draw fairy blessings; but scattering primroses outside your door is said to keep fairies away by making a barrier that they cannot cross.

Rose ~ Cultivate roses to attract fairies to your garden. Rose petals can be used in fairy magic, especially for love spells.

Rosemary ~ Grow rosemary, or place fresh sprigs of it about, to keep malicious fairies away. Burn dried rosemary as incense to attract the fae.

St. John’s Wort ~ St. John’s Wort is said to offer protection from the fae, and from faery spells.

Thistles ~ Thistles are also called Pixies’ Gloves, because the fae are said to use the tiny flowers as gloves.

Thyme ~ Thyme is associated with fairies. Wearing a sprig of wild thyme, or essential oil of thyme, is said to help one to see fairies. If you place springs of thyme on your closed eyes and sleep upon a fairy mound, with will supposedly guarantee your seeing fairies. Dried, powdered thyme, sprinkled on doorsteps and window sills, is an invitation to the fae into your home. Wild thyme, gathered from the side of a fairy mound, is especially potent for use in fairy magic.

Violet ~ Violets are sacred to the Fairy Queen, and my be used in fairy spells.

Wood Sorrel ~ Wood sorrel is used in fairy magic, and for evocation of elves

As you may of noticed our website has changed considerably during the past year, this has been an ongoing process and has taken up alot of time and energy from the people working on it and I would like to address that in this post. As well as give everyone an update on what the new site carries and what you can expect to find in the year to come from us.We started to change the www.darkmoonmagick.com website around a year ago due to some issues that people were having getting around the site. Angela who had designed the old site was adamant that she could improve the look of the site as well as make it user friendly to all who visited, as well as having some new idea’s that she insisted would..”look great”.

I being a control freak at times had severe issues with this, not knowing what it was going to look like this time around, I loved my old site, it was beautiful but we were new off the block and didnt really know much about the best way to get it search engine friendly as well as making it look great and easy to get around. Lets just say that Angela exceeded all expectations and built a new site that went far beyond anything I had expected. Its beautiful to say the least and I am so very proud of what it has turned out to be. My husband built it all, plus built my own shopping cart and between the two of them they created a very special website for me that I can never say thank you enough for.Recently Angela added this section for me, a place to add all of my Wiccan Information, recipes, herb uses and their properties. Herb blends and how to create them, Gods and Goddess’s of Wicca and so forth. It is a wonderfull addition to the www.darkmoonmagick.com website and again would like to thank Angela for all of her help.

The new site layout has allowed me to add a whole range of different products that I didnt have before. I still carry all the different wiccan herbs in ounce form, and now have a whole line of Wiccan herb blends and Wiccan tea, as well as an entire line of Wiccan and Pagan Body products, which includes bath and shower gels and body lotions all with wiccan intent. We are adding things daily at this point and I have just created a line of Wiccan ritual oils and ritual inks, which will be added soon.

That being said none of this would be possible for me with two very important people, who have given their all on this project and helped me in ways that I can never repay. Angela who has designed and created one of the most beautiful websites I have ever seen, and who did all this out of the kindness of her own heart. She truly is a wonderful person and I would like to thank her from the bottom of my heart for all the hard work she put into this.. the proof is in the pudding as they say. And I believe that this site is truely a great work of art on her part.Secondly I would like to thank my husband, who put up with all my moaning at him to build the back end faster…”and do it this way”… and “why cant you put that there”….he was a trooper through it all and built me a great working website that I am very proud of.I am beyond charmed to have two such kind, generous and dedicated people in my life.

Having been Wiccan now for several years and have had this same conversation with Wiccans, Pagans and many people of alternate religions, the question always poses as a great discussion. What is Magic? Does it exist? and ultimately, can we use it to better our lives?
